The elegantly designed Aqua V3 is an excellent introduction to the beginner collection, which was introduced in 2015. Since some customers reported that the Blue was too difficult for a novice puzzler, the Aqua was created to appeal to a broader audience. Aqua’s solution is highly satisfying and the journey to get there will be equally rewarding for newcomers as well as long-time puzzlers. It provides a fun challenge that encourages you to think outside the box, thereby relieving stress and staying focused. Similarly to the Blue and Green puzzles, the Aqua puzzle features thicker walls and incorporates similar techniques.
The Aqua is included in the Revomaze beginner collection alongside the Sapphire, Turquoise, and Blue mazes, it is a popular puzzle you can enjoy to enhance your revo-mazing skills. It is strongly recommended that children handle this product under the supervision of an adult. Feeling the need to walk before running meant starting with Aqua. I will look forward to seeing others having a go now I know the path. It took me around 7 or 8 hours to open, it was more of a challenge than I thought it would be, and now I am addicted and looking forward to the next one.

Initial impressions of my new revo’s were – These are serious fistfuls of mass. I’d hate to have this in my flight carry on bag going through the X-ray. It’d probably get taken away, sandbagged and blown up. I regress.
Don’t let the “entry level” status of this Aqua fool you. This unit will still keep serious puzzlers new to Revomaze busy for a while. I started right in with mapping on graph, working out the best method that worked for me, as I have several tougher ones to follow. Having solved it, replayability is great and I still can get tripped up without map in hand – There’s no “burrtools” app for mazes that will solve these for you. Very enjoyable!

An excellent start to anyone’s Revo adventure! Aqua was the first Revo I solved, and it was 3 hours of fun for me! Mapping the maze was really interesting (though probably not entirely necessary for this puzzle) and a lot of the features in this maze pop up again (often in harder variants) in the later mazes. I’ll never forget after I first solved the maze and took a look at the core for the first time how it just “clicked” being able to relate what I felt to actual features of the machined core. All in all 5/5 and a great introductory maze!
