The Blue V3 puzzle is a beautifully crafted puzzle that is sure to challenge even the most experienced puzzlers. The Blue has received a wonderful response from the puzzling community and is a must-have for any puzzle enthusiast. While the Blue was a success, some of our customers felt that this puzzle was too challenging for a level one Revomaze. We took this feedback on board and designed the Aqua V3, and five years later we brought out the Turquoise V3.
The Blue V1 was invented by Chris Pitt, the inventor of the Revomaze, and was released in February 2009. It included 12 individually engraved puzzles as well as an engraved stand. It was well received, and the community wished for more designs; it has since remained a popular edition in the beginner range. Since its release, the forum has been buzzing with blogs, videos, and passionate discussions.
Blue will put your skills to the ultimate test! It is a highly progressive labyrinth puzzle that many puzzlers enjoy, and the sense of accomplishment is simply amazing. Although it is a beginner puzzle, it is still complex because you must navigate hidden obstacles and unlock the stunning core by twisting, pulling, and pushing the inner shaft while dodging tricky traps.

These puzzles are amazing. I recently got into puzzling and this piece is an absolute blast. I can definitely recommend the Blue V3. But I have some remarks. While this is a good puzzle that introduces a lot of the aspects of these kinds of puzzles, I found it too easy and in hindsight would have opted for a more difficult maze. Especially if budget is a concern which it kind of is in my case. My other remark is that once the pins align it takes a lot of fidgeting to get the pin to drop into the hole. Which caused some frustration after having the dots align. After having taken the certificate out I reassembled it (without force and the pin dropped right into the hole) and now, for the life of me, can’t have another look at the core because the pin seems stuck. All in all, lovely puzzle, but some hiccups prevent it from being more rewarding.

What an amazing puzzle, perfect to get you hooked on Revomazes. Happy that I started with the blue, as it introduces the core ideas that will be be used (and modified in surprising ways!) in the intermediate and advances puzzles.
One general tip: If you’ll be puzzling for longer stretches of time, do get the training aid as your hands and wrist will become quite sore from handling.

I originally received my Blue Revomaze in 2009 and it has been the only puzzle I still enjoy opening every time I pick it up, even 11 years later! Whether you are relatively new to puzzles to a veteran puzzle solver, the Blue has plenty of good play feedback and fun tricks up its sleeve. Everyone should own this puzzle.
